What organizations are doing with StrataPoint
Getting started with StrataPoint
Basemap
StrataPoint implementation begins with a base map, the core layers of data that make up your course or municipality. StrataPoint uses GPS data, aerial photography, along with other pre-existing data sources to create multiple layers of information. Anything can be imported as a layer, so that you can view and manage:
- trees
- greens, bunkers and fairways
- irrigation
- water hazards
- roads and paths
- buildings
- property data
- utility lines
- buildings
- street signs
Custom attributes
For every object or point on the map, Stratapoint assigns the custom attributes that you will manage on the living map. For a tree, for instance, the living map will record height, DBH, species, condition, or any other data (even photographs or video). And as these attributes change over time, your map will evolve to provide an always up-to-date source of information.
Certified Arborist Survey
StrataPoint was developed by certified arborists who will complete a survey of your green assets. A specific assessment of the condition and health of your trees is incorporated into your tree inventory, including species, height, diameter, crown spread, condition, pruning cycle, disease, insect damage, and recommendations for removal or treatment.
Linear/Area Measurements
StrataPoint allows for precise online calculations of distances and areas in feet, yards, meters or any other measurement. With your living map, you can quickly view square footage and lengths, then print images and track activities.
